Built on the legacy of BRPM, created in 1928, and ONAREP, created in 1981, ONHYM has inherited nearly a century of geoscientific expertise, technical excellence and pioneering spirit. Since its establishment in 2005, the Office has continued to consolidate this legacy while adapting to the new challenges and expectations of the global energy and mining sectors.
Today, Morocco’s geological potential offers significant opportunities. Its sedimentary basins, both onshore and offshore, remain open to exploration and partnership. Natural gas, in particular, holds strategic importance in supporting energy security and transition. At the same time, Morocco’s mining potential is gaining renewed relevance in a world increasingly driven by strategic minerals, clean technologies and industrial sovereignty.

Our story begins in 1950, when John Doe founded our third-generation financial planning firm.
